MSA General Monitors Observer-i Ultrasonic Gas Detector

FREE SHIPPING on orders over £50 ex VAT

The Observer-i Ultrasonic Gas Detector from General Monitors uses Gassonic ultrasonic technology to instantly detect pressurised gas leaks. This highly precise acoustic detector works when traditional gas detection equipment is not suited or dependent on ventilation.

The GM Observer-i can analyse sounds as low as 12 kHz due to no common high pass filters being used. Broader leak detection can be activated which in turn increases sensitivity to smaller gas leaks, without interference from unwanted background noise.

This detector requires no alarm setpoints or trigger levels to be configured and alarm parameters do not need to be adjusted. Additionally, the Observer-i is backwards compatible with earlier versions of the Observer, thanks to its classic mode setting.

KEY FEATURES

  • Improved detection range and background noise rejection – preventing false alarms
  • Integrated Senssonic self-test
  • The capability of storing faults, sound checks, calibrations, and alarm history
  • Detects gas leaks from 2 bar (29 psi) pressure
