Description
Positioning Made Easy
The Sokkia iM-55 is an ideal site layout and survey instrument. The iM-55 ihas been designed and manufactured to the highest Japanese quality standards, offering superior functionality.
- Integrated construction and survey application software
- Accurate, fast and powerful EDM
- Reflectorless (to 500m)
- Prism range (to 4,000m)
- Advanced angle accuracy (2” / 5”)
Outstanding Performance
Featuring a new design of EDM, the iM-55 is powerful, accurate and quick. In reflectorless mode, the system is able to measures up to 500m (2mm+2ppm accuracy), and has an accuracy level of 1.5mm+2ppm when measuring with the standard prisms (up to 4,000m).
Powerful and Quick EDM
The iM-55 gives rapid and accurate pinpointing using phase shift technology. The ultra-narrow EDM beam can precisely measure tree branches, chain-link fences, corners, walls, and manhole covers on the road surface. The system provides distance measurement within 0.9 seconds, irrespective of the object.
Simple Data Transfer
The system incorporates integrated Bluetooth capability and an integrated internal antenna, enabling the transfer of cable-free measurements.
Waterproof and Rugged
The iM-55 is IP66 certificated, and is waterproof up to one meter and gives full protection against dust ingress. The iM-55 is built on a ruggedized metal chassis and supplied with a heavy-duty handle stand enabling operation at the most challenging off work sites. The iM-55 can operate in temperatures ranging from -20ºC to 60ºC.
Ready for Field Usage
The iM-55 has the capability to handle 50,000 points of internal memory, and can hold an additional 32GB of data via the USB port. The integrated SDRbasic software is easy to use and enables efficient operation for field-based activities.
